Volunteer, intern or give in kind
MSRI is a small organisation. Volunteers and interns make a material difference to what it can deliver, and in-kind donations go directly into programmes rather than into storage.
Time and skills
We are seeking committed volunteers and interns
Support is welcome on a part-time or full-time basis. Applications are made by email with a résumé attached, or through the form below.
Teaching and classroom support
Assist teachers in the MSRI school, from pre-kindergarten through IGCSE preparation. Classes are taught in English.
Programme and administrative support
Help with registration, case administration, logistics and the day-to-day running of programmes.
Research and communications
Contribute to the Institute’s research output, publications, or its communications and fundraising work.
Skills-based and professional support
Offer professional expertise — legal, medical, accounting, design, IT — on a pro bono basis.

Goods and materials
Donate in kind
Material donations — food, computers, household goods — are used directly in programmes. Please contact MSRI before sending goods so they can be matched to a current need.
Food and hygiene
Staple foods and hygiene items for distribution to families.
Computers
Digital equipment for the computer learning centre and digital skills teaching.
Household goods
Baby items, furniture and household appliances, matched to a specific request.
Professional services
Legal, medical, accounting, design or IT expertise provided pro bono.
